Berkeley Farm is a place where adults with learning difficulties come to work and have a sense of responsibility, something they can work towards and somewhere people can flourish and have something be dependent on them. Whether it be feeding the animals or attending to the plants, Berkeley Farm is a place where everyone is equal and everyone makes a useful contribution.
The people that come to the Berkeley Farm Project are here to work. Everyone has their own jobs and responsibilities, it is their farm. Being depended on by another, whether it be a rabbit or a plant that needs a drink, is hugely beneficial to a person's self esteem. We strive to create an environment in which no one feels as though they cannot achieve and a place that people have a sense of accomplishment.
If you're looking for a warm, comfortable place for your rabbit to stay while you are away. Berkeley Farm is the place to be. We have space for plenty of furry friends and the more the merrier!
At Berkeley Farm we grow and sell a variety of gorgeous seasonal plants and flowers. All planted and maintained by the people who visit us. Some of the varieties of plants we grow are:
